Around Ojo de Agua

Situated on the Azuero Peninsula in the province of Los Santos, Ojo de Agua is a town of only several hundred people.

It is, by many measures, a diamond in the rough. Uncrowded, but with all the amenities within an hour or so drive---a drive that is on class 1 roads---if not already available right in town. World-class sport fishing, surfing, birding, hiking, diving and more, all right at your fingertips.

The people in Ojo de Agua are on a first name basis and our sense of community is strong.  We’re very proud of our piece of paradise and welcome newcomers with a mutual mindset of community development, social responsibility as well as environmental, and a zest for life.

If simply visiting Ojo de Agua doesn't quench your thirst, consider moving here.  Real estate is available for sale, including property title, electricity, water, roads, lots and reforestation.

Quebradas are [...]

Photo Update: property views | Sep 11, 2008

A good friend with a much better camera than mine took a walk around the property snapping photos from different angles. He was kind enough to give them to me so I would like to share them. Here are some of the photos he took with my descriptions. I highly recommend clicking on the [...]

Views along the roadside in Los Santos | Sep 3, 2008

The pictures featured in this post are from one afternoon late in last years dry season when I drove from Playa Venao to Las Tablas . Instead of going the Pedasi route, I decided to head west from Venao and take the “mountain road” to Las Tablas. Passing by the property in Ojo de Agua, [...]
