The water system for the first phase of the development has finally been installed. 

Over 2000 feet of 40 guage two inch and three inch PVC pipe had to be buried in the mountain side.  Each lot has one or more faucets and "stubouts" for home connection. 

A 110 feet deep well with a 2 horsepower submersible pump pushes water up and fills the six 660 gallon tanks and then gravity feeds down throughout the property.

These photos were taken in May 'o7 during construction of the nearly half-mile community road accessing  the first phase of the property.

The native soil road base was excavated from the mountain side, graded, compacted, capped with a 6 inch  clay - rock material, locally called Tosca, and compacted again.

Tosca is the most economical and durable material found locally used for surfacing mountain roads, compacting well  and draining surface water run off as good as gravel.
